Mr Katapodis holds a sociology degree from the University of Essex (UK), a law degree from the Northern Territory University (Australia) and is currently studying for a Masters in Banking Law from University College London (UK).
He is currently a partner in the Greek firm of Theo V Sioufas Law Office, having previously held positions with Gounaris and Koukoulis Lawyers in Greece (2003-2005) as well as Spamer Lawyers in Darwin, Australia (1998-2002).
